Today, the 5th of July, Amber and Matt got married at Plume, the vineyard restaurant, Matakana. The day started off with a little bit of rain, then the sun came out and blue skies – we set up for the Winter Wedding Ceremony on our lovely lawns – however, the winds were so strong that they kept on blowing the chairs away! Finally the Ceremony was held inside under our covered patio – the ladies were all eternally grateful for this!

And if the weather is fine the Wedding Ceremony can be outside on our lawns in the vineyard OR inside under our covered, heated Patio!
Plume is in a secluded area on the stunning Matakana Wine Trail, allowing you the privacy and comfort and warmth to share the day with mily and friends with complete focus from our experienced team. Enjoy the Ceremony and Reception in our beautiful warm vineyard surroundings. Plume’s Chefs will ensure amazing sumptuous Winter Wedding Menus for a three- course meal to leave your guests completely satiated – accompanied by our Boutique hand crafted Wines to warm up your guests.
There are no “hidden” costs at Plume and everything that we have on site is yours to use at no additional costs – besides that, to make life very simple there is NO VENUE HIRE CHARGE for Winter Weddings (June 1st to September 30th) of 80 people or more!
